Twelve towns, and why the work differs between them
The building stock across this patch is not uniform, and that changes the job more than the distance does. York is a pantile city — brittle, individually bedded tiles that have to be washed rather than blasted. Bradford and the Wharfedale towns are Yorkshire stone slate, heavy and porous and slow to give up moss. Harrogate is Victorian slate and painted render. Wetherby and Ripon sit on soft magnesian limestone that scours under too much pressure.

How far do you travel?
Roughly a 50-mile radius from Harrogate. The twelve towns listed here are within the area we cover, but the list is not a hard boundary — if you are just outside it, ring and ask.
Do you charge extra for the towns further out?
No. The quote is for the job, not for the mileage. Leeds, York and Bradford are all inside the area we cover.
Which areas do you cover?
Harrogate and Knaresborough are within the area we cover from our base. Leeds, York and Bradford are also covered, along with the Wharfedale towns — Ilkley, Otley, Menston and Guiseley.
